Welcome to the Santa Clara School District

The information in the handbook and on our website is intended to help you and your children know more about us, our staff, special programs and the rules and regulations by which we operate.  If, at any time during the school year, a question arises, please feel free to contact the school.

The primary purpose of public education is to train children in various academic skills.  This is accomplished by offering the basic tools for continued learning and placing emphasis on the whole child; emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development.

It is important that families and schools work together to help students achieve high academic standards.  As partners, we ask that teachers, families, students, and community representatives agree upon the following roles and responsibilities that will support student success in school and in life.
